Dwell with Dignity provides families with the furnishings they need. This helps create a more nurturing environment as a stressor is removed.
Bare Bones become Real Homes & Families Become Self Sufficient
The families are nominated to us by existing social service organizations that have programs in place to help struggling families attain self-sufficiency. Agencies must have accountability-based programs that address housing, education, career, finance, life skills and children’s needs. Organizations that are approved by our board may nominate families in need.
While the families are equipped with everything they need to work towards self-sufficiency, they often do not have the resources it takes to make their new space a home. With our help, a huge financial burden is taken off of our families. They can now focus on their job, their children and their future.
